Tours for Tails is a unique social initiative by EcuaTouring that transforms travel into a mission of love. We're building a dog shelter in Ecuador — funded through our tours and supported by travelers, animal lovers, and global sponsors.

Our Mission
Ecuador has thousands of street dogs in desperate need of food, shelter, and love. We're building a sustainable dog shelter, funded by our tour operations and supported by travelers, animal lovers, and caring sponsors around the world.

How We Help
Build a Shelter
We’re creating a dedicated space where rescued dogs can receive medical care, recover in peace, and prepare for adoption. The shelter will be located near Quito and run by trained staff and volunteers.
Visit Elder Homes
Rescue dogs bring joy to elderly people in local care homes through supervised weekly therapy visits. These interactions help both dogs and elders heal through love and connection.
Host Adoption Events
Each weekend, we’ll take adoptable dogs to shopping malls and public spaces for fun, family-friendly adoption pop-ups — so people can meet, fall in love, and adopt.
Involve Travelers
As part of EcuaTouring's mission, our visitors can volunteer, sponsor a dog, or visit the shelter during their trip — adding heart to their adventure.

Choose one of our sweet, vaccinated rescue dogs to join you on nature walks while your visit in Ecuador as on day tours, and hotel stays. We'll provide food, leash, and supplies — you provide the love.
